UNC Vs. FSU: Battle Of Multiple Personalities
10/22/2009
I am currently at UNC-CH pursuing majors in business and economics.
I have lived in North Carolina my entire life but my family is split between the Tar Heels and the Wolfpack of NC State. I chose to attend the better university and the place my allegiance lies.
I am a diehard sports fan (like everyone on Bleacher Report), particularly basketball and football. I will be covering the Tar Heels 2009-2010 football season via TARHEELFORUM.com under the pen name "Chuckles."
I've also been accused of being in on pregame meetings because I will make a comment about a game or a statistic just seconds before one of the commentators will make the statement. This annoys my friends, and I can understand how it would.
Being a North Carolinian, I also cheer for my home-state Carolina Panthers and Charlotte Bobcats while still holding weak ties to the New Orleans Hornets because they are the original from Charlotte. However, even with a rather goofy mascot name, I believe in the Bobcats, Jordan, and Larry Brown.
Charles, I posted your article on our front page. So our members will know you better, come by and become a member and hang out with us from time to time. In less than 2 weeks we have 36 members, we're growing like crazy. Don't make me beg for you to stop by...LOL!!!

Charles, a week ago we launched a brand new Tar Heel website and we would love for you to become a featured writer there. The site in just one week has 30 members, and adding more and more everyday. As a featured writer your articles would appear on the front page and in the UNC News section. Our basic members of the site have the ability to add whatever content they want to the Blog page, forum/message board, and video page. There is also a chatroom which will mainly be used during games. That's the main reason the site has exploded so fast, because the members are pretty much running the show. If you are interested in joining please stop by and check the site out. If you would rather not have your articles posted on the site thats cool, but at least become a member and come chat with us sometime. We are at http://www.tarheelfanatics.com/ Hope to see you there. Thanks Charles, David!!!

Hey Charles,
Check out my article on how fans are forced to choose between integrity and entertainment too often, and the societal conflict that creates when we realize that sports are just another form of entertainment.
