About

I feel like I’ve been stealing money for the last five years. Not a lot of money, but it was worth it. I’ve been fortunate enough to work as a sports reporter, anchor, and producer ever since I graduated from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. My parents always told me I’d never work a day in my life if I could find a career I loved. They were right.

My career has taken me to small towns and large cities (Chicago, Fort Lauderdale, San Diego, Lawton, OK, Toccoa, GA, and Fort Myers, FL) all over the country and I’ve won awards at every station I’ve worked. Along the way, I’ve covered three BCS Championship Games, two Super Bowls, one World Series and the Masters. I’ve also had a ton of fun covering 8-on-8 high school football, little league baseball, BMX racing, and remote control racecar racing.

I probably have the strangest sports allegiances you’ll ever see (Atlanta Braves, Oakland Raiders, Washington Capitals, and the Northwestern Wildcats), but there’s a good story behind each one of them. Feel free to drop me a note if you want an explanation.

When I’m not watching sports, writing about sports, or reading about sports, I’m working out, playing golf, trying my hand at stand-up comedy and spending time with my beautiful fiancée.
