Hey ... sorry I didn't get back to you earlier. I was planning on it but got so busy with work and school (you know how college can be) that I kind of didn't get around to it.
I think the Mariners problems can be summed up with two names. Bill Bavasi and John McLaren. Jim Riggleman isn't the world's best manager, heck knows he doesn't have the greatest managerial history, but he has the team playing inspired baseball. The team has talent. I've never wavered from that opinion. You don't win 88 games like they did last year without talent. They just got off to a rocky start, it all kind of snowballed, and McLaren couldn't find the proper way to motivate them. That's how I see it. Do you still want to have that discussion?
Born in Eugene? Traitor.
A Husky fan from Eugene? I bet it's tough for you going home for x-mas. Do you feel the Huskies hatrid for the Ducks is worse than it is for the Cougs? I'm from Seattle, too. And I feel the passion of hate for the Oregon Ducks outweighs that for the Cougs.
Hey Braden, are you going to the Save Our Sonics rally on Monday? You should—and write something about it! I can't make it down from Vancouver unfortunately. Take it easy.

Braden, I'm not working in firefox today so here's some editor's feedback.
Great article! I tweaked your headline a bit and made a few stylistic changes. Make sure everything checks out to your liking—keep up the awesome work!
