Onalee's Bio

Onalee is a rising senior at Rhodes College in Memphis, TN aiming towards a career in sports journalism. She had her first taste of sports media as the sports writer for her high school newspaper, but has since rekindled it with internships with ESPN radio, the ABC affiliate in Memphis, the Mississippi Riverkings, columns with her college paper, and game reports for Memphis Sport Magazine. Besides getting a chance to write here and there, Onalee is a Bleacher Report editing intern. She is also a member of the Association for Women in Sports Media (AWSM).

This spring, she had the unique experience of covering the St. Louis Cardinals' Spring Training over her spring break. After succeeding through an experience where she was the only female and also the youngest media member by about 20 years, Onalee is determined to break into the business.

Onalee is also a contributor at www.cardinalsdiaspora.com. Anytime between April and October you can find her at the ballpark. Contact her at onalee.carson@yahoo.com.

  3. add me as your fan. thanks for the edit

  4. Thanks for the help. As you can tell I'm not much of a writer. If fact, I'm a scientist which is the furthest thing from a writer as you can get, but I appreciate the help

  5. Please check out the new Cardinals Roundtable!

  9. I appreciate the feedback. Thanks for the help and everything checked out well. I look forward to reading your work and working with you again.

  10. Thanks for reading and editing the NC State Football article. It looks better, and I am good with the way you edited the teaser to say 'Vance Fitzgerald discusses...', but it is interesting to put it in 3rd person. Since I don't think many of us feel comfortable writing a teaser using our own names in 3rd person, that sure is a lot of manual intervention by folks like you! Anyway - thanks again!

  11. Thanks for reading.

  12. Thanks, I appreciate the help.

  13. Sorry for the late response, but thank you for your changes on the Pierce article. I work in studio production for Mike and Mike, all the video and such that you see on TV we put together in the morning before the show. Pretty simple, so you dont have to sit and watch them talk for 4 hours

    Thanks again

  14. Hey man. Thanks for editing my article. I'm not normally a writer, but when I saw this site, it really peaked my interest because it seemed to be more than just some online journal. I appreciate the editing and welcome any future editing of my articles.
