A Decade of Devastation: San Francisco 49ers Fight for Redemption
08/12/2009
I have made some odd choices in my life, like deciding to live in Southern California, while all my favorite teams are up north. I have resigned myself to a life of love from a distance. I am an aspiring sports commentator, doing play by play for high school football games in the area on an internet radio site. Sports might be the most competitive and intense industry there is. With so many people out there, it amazes me that the quality of analysts and writers are not better. I feel like we settle for Magic Johnson telling us that the Lakers need Kobe to play well to win. There are too many smart people out there willing to speak the truth, for this this lazy trend to continue. I hope websites like this continue to push the envelope and force networks, newspapers and magazines to do better.
Hey I would appreciate some input on my article: The Five Worst Sports Announcers in NY
