I did my undergraduate degree (BA) at The Ohio State University from 2005 to 2009 where I graduated with Honors in History and Political Science. My graduate degree (MA) was jointly-conferred between Georgetown University and King's College London from 2010 to 2012 where I graduated with Distinction in Global, International and Comparative History.
In real life, I am an Economic Researcher for a progressive think tank in Washington, D.C. My job consists mostly of real time fact-checking as well as longer term media research and analysis. In a previous life, I blogged extensively on economic news with EconomyinCrisis.org and on Israeli and Palestinian news and events at IMEMC.org.
I can read, write, and speak (to varying degrees depending on the dialect, regional weather, stellar alignment, etc.) English, Spanish, Arabic, and French. I have traveled all over Europe and the Middle East.
I love teaching ESOL and American Citizenship, it is incredibly rewarding.
