I am an abstract painter. As an artist I'm used to looking at things and figuring out why they are interesting. When I watch sports I'm the type of person who looks for the greater context in which the event occurs.

The only way to truly appreciate anything is to observe it from every aspect, without any presuppositions. When I write about sports I try to be as objective as possible because I feel that true greatness lies not in perfection but in the ability to overcome flaws. When you can throw out the superlatives and hype that surround athletes you find truly incredible stories of people doing amazing things.

    Randy,
    How you liking that Josh Mcdaniels hire now, what about all the great personel moves? You really liked it last year when Denver started out 6-0. Man have things changed. Im sorry to see Denver fall off as i have told you before i root for them as my favorite AFC team. Im still happy with the Cutler trade, i hope he keeps getting better and better! Good luck with the coaching search i hope you guys find a good one!!
