About

I recently graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism/Comm & Media Studies. I am on the job hunt, but in the meantime figured I could keep my skills finely tuned by writing for B/R. My hope is that readers will find my articles both insightful and entertaining. Please feel free to leave comments and messages, I don't get a chance to check everyday, but will get back to you when I can. I also posted my demo tape on YouTube if you would like to hear some of my calls as a play-by-play announcer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iePP6byMVMw

    Hey,

After the great success of my first article about the uniform numbers 1-10, I have come back with the next installment, with the best players to wear the uniform numbers 11-20. I hope you can take a look and even comment on my choices. Thanks in advance!

Before you get too critical of Penn State, take a look at some of the other title contenders. Teams like Texas, Florida, Alabama, and Ohio State all schedule these weak non-conference games. Quite frankly, probably the best way to "fix" the BCS is to force teams from conferences with automatic berths to schedule games with teams from other "BCS conferences". At least that way there wouldn't be FBS teams playing FCS teams every year, and it would make gaining bowl eligibility tougher as well.

Penn State ducking good teams has been going on since World War 2. They cancelled a good rivalry with Pitt when it got too hard and quit playing Rutgers as soon as Rutgers had a pulse.

Now their non conference rival is Temple.

I hope they go undefeated and get left out. That happened to them 4 times in their history and they still haven't changed their cowardly ways.
