Max's Bio

Born in Coral Springs, Florida, Max was flushed into the world of hockey at the age of five, suspiciously the same year that the Florida Panthers Hockey Club made its expansion into the National Hockey League (1993). He has been a loyal Panthers fan ever since. He currently attends Florida State University and is an English major with a concentration in Creative Writing. He is also a part of the FSU Roller Hockey Club Team and plays forward. All Time Sports Moment

When the 1980 USA Olympic Hockey Team beat the USSR Hockey Team in Lake Placid. More people would know it as "The Miracle on Ice".

Most Memorable Game Attended

I was at a Florida Panthers game a few years back and my high school friends and I were drunk beyond all comprehension. I mean, the Panthers lost, but we still had a great time. I guess it's the small sports moment in life I treasure the most.

Most Unbreakable Sports Record

I hate to say it, but no one will touch the amount of career points that Wayne Gretzky has. 2,857? That's unheard of, and it will never be duplicated in the sport ever again.

Ruth or Mays?

Babe Ruth, he was the powerhouse of the Bronx for a reason.

Unitas or Montana?

Unitas was way more legendary.

Pele or Maradona?

Pele's bicycle kick is the reason soccer is so popular today.

Pac 10, Big 12, Big 10, SEC, ACC, or Big East?

Well the FSU Seminoles are my team, so I'm going to have to go with the ACC. However, if you're asking me which is the most competitive overall in all sports, I'd have to say the Big 10.

  1. That is awesome! Oh, by the way welcome to BR.
You are going to have fun writing about all your 'fave' teams, just remember to ignore the idiots.
You are more then welcome to reply/respond to their silly, knee jerk reactions. Just don't get into a 'pissy-hissy' fit with them.
You are only taking away from your integrity and credibility as a writer!
That's all I have to say on that...ultimately you will be your own judge on your 'replies'. Just be professional and ignore the instigators...just like hockey scraps..lol!
    Good luck and have fun!

  2. Well said brother! You love your Cowboys' too, may the force be with you!
