William Bendetson was selected as the ESPN.com Intern among more than 600 applicants in the Spring of 2007. He wrote over 50 articles for ESPN.com and ESPN Magazine including a weekly column about unheralded players in the NFL during the 2007 NFL season. Before he was with ESPN, he wrote a weekly NFL column for the Jerusalem Post, traveling to a different game every weekend, including the 2007 AFC Championship Game in Indianapolis and the Super Bowl in Miami.

Bendetson has also covered numerous NFL owners meetings and the NFL draft. His work has also appeared on MSNBC.com and in the Los Angeles Times. He is currently writing a book about the Giants 1990 season. Bendetson graduated from Tufts University in 2008 with a degree in Economics and Political Science and now lives in Brookline, Mass. He hopes to become CBS's Patriots correspondent for next season.
