I have been involved in sports for my entire life, and do not intend on stopping anytime soon. As a child, listening and learning from my father, and then playing as soon as I could walk and run - Little League, AYSO, and Club Soccer throughout California. As I grew, I added football and basketball to the mix, until entering high school where I dedicated all my efforts and focused on football.

I was an undersized blocking and goal line tight end who also doubled as a defensive linemen and linebacker, standing at a meager 6'2', 231 pounds - a throwback to the old days of football.

Since then, I have spent a lot of time around college football. As a member of the equipment staff at two Pacific 12 Conference universities, I have had the privilege of working very closely with some amazing players, many of whom are competing in the NFL, as well as being on the sidelines to witness some of the most exciting games in recent history.

I hope my writing inspires others to voice their opinions and discuss sports related issues. I may not always be "write", however I will always voice my opinion, tell a good story, and hopefully bring you back to comment on and check out more of my work!

Kristian, I am also a ASU alum. And I am horrified and DISGUSTED by the changes in the uniform, and especially the helmet. Your article might as well be written by ASU media relations it is so biased.(BTW, I'm also a photojournalist for the past 20 years, so I know a little about the new media) With the new unis, we now compare to Oregon and their hideous outfits. Their unis are the laughing stock of the rest of the nation and now we will be too. Take a close look at the rest of the nation. Do you see, Alabama changing their uniforms?, How bout LSU, or Michigan? Maybe Penn St or Georgia? Look at USC or Ohio St, do you see them changing helmet design or wearing all black uniforms when there is no black in the school colors?....No of course not. They stick with tradition and it has been EXTREMELY successful. This change was made for one thing and one thing only:.....MONEY!.....and it sickens me that ASU would go that route just for a damn paycheck.

Although I have already managed to upset one ASU writer on this website, I would like to know your opinion of how you think the Devils will do next season. They didn't really impress me this season offensively but will certainly have one of the best defenses in the conference next season. I know some people are ranking them in their pre-season top 25 but a lot of things can happen between now and then.

Hey Kristian, I love your work dude, really great stuff. I'm an aspiring sports writer myself, and hope to attend the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism soon as a transfer student.

I write a lot of articles covering the New York Giants and I originally hail from the great state of New Jersey, but am currently going to community college here in AZ.

Just wanted to know what your thoughts were on the WCSJ. Take care and keep up the great work!

Kristian, please proof your posts a little better. A quick reread of your latest on ASU's recruiting class will find a lot of places where wrong words are used.

What's up Kristian, just wanted to get your feedback on my list of top ASU defenders. Let me know if I missed someone. Here's the link.

    Hey Kristian,

Good series and like the facts you present. I like "Sully"'s potential and he probably will end up the starter, but I'm just not convinced he gives them the best chance to win. In addition, I don't know if the offensive line has progressed to the point that they can give him adequate time to throw. They have a ton of talent at receiver, but getting them the ball will be the challenge. If they used a qb like Szakacsy in the spread and let him throw on the run where he thrives. I'm not sold on Sullivan because it seemed like whenever he comes in, he fumbles a snap and does not run the offense well enough for a qb in his 4th year. I hope I'm wrong and I'm just going on what I've seen in game situations, but it remains to be seen.

    Keep it up...
