I am a graduate of Marquette University with a degree in journalism. I am currently working in college sports out in California, but my first love is writing...and my teams. As a native Wisconsinite I love Marquette Basketball, the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, and Milwaukee Bucks. I have written about college sports for our student news paper at Marquette and also covered high school sports for a small weekly paper in my hometown of Stevens Point, WI.

I try to find a middle ground between the concise writing I was trained in at Marquette, but I also like the long, pop culture reference filled articles more accustomed to Bill Simmons, coincidentally my favorite sports columnist.

My internship in California ends in July so I am currently in the job market. Hopefully this will help me find something because the reason I got into journalism was to write about big time sporting events.
