Breaking Down Jason Campbell
05/29/2009
For the past 3 NFL seasons, I have served as an internet columnist for Realfootball365.com, a popular football website that debuted in 2003. As a resident of Northern Virginia, I cover the Washington Redskins and live just a few miles down the road from Ashburn, where the team holds its practices.
I also have experience with the NFL as a television beat reporter. From 1999 to 2003, I covered the Buffalo Bills for Time Warner's 24-hour news channel in Rochester, New York. In addition to reporting from games and press conferences, I was responsible for producing packages and performing live-shots from the Bills' practice facilities and summer training camp.
Prior to my work in upstate New York, I produced sports packages as a Redskins and Baltimore Ravens beat reporter for NBC25 in Hagerstown, Maryland.
I have recently applied for an NFL Correspondent position with the Bleacher Report and CBSSports.com. The concept of offering internet writers the chance to cover the NFL is truly unique. If selected, I would take pride in providing users of both sites with up-to-the-minute news and information about the Redskins and their quest for a championship in 2009.
