About

I am excited to contribute columns to BleacherReport.com and its new parent company, Turner Sports. With its open and interactive platform, 'B/R' offers me the freedom to publish content and opinion, while communicating with readers on topics that matter to them most.

I have written articles for B/R since 2009, but was happy to accept an NFL Featured Columnist role with the company in July of 2012.

As a resident of Northern Virginia, I cover the Washington Redskins and live just down the road from Ashburn, where the team holds its training camp and practices. I also cover breaking and trending sports news as a member of BR's Trends, News and Traffic Team.

My previous experience includes work as a television sports anchor and beat reporter. For three seasons, I covered the Buffalo Bills for Time Warner Cable. In addition to reporting from games and press conferences, I was responsible for producing packages and performing live-shots from the Bills' practice facilities and summer training camp.

Prior to working in upstate New York, I produced sports packages as a Redskins and Baltimore Ravens beat reporter for NBC25 in Hagerstown, Maryland.

I take pride in writing for Bleacher Report. With an average of 10 million unique web visitors and one million mobile downloads per month, B/R continues to grow and evolve at a rapid pace. The company also provides me with national exposure, through its syndicated sharing of content with sites like USAToday.com, CBSSports.com and FoxSports.com.

Hey Joe, thanks very much for the note! And congrats on being a Redskins FC. Can't wait for the Bills-Redskins preseason matchup. Yes, it's preseason, but I'm ready for some football, and there are some great storylines with RG3 and Super Mario headlining. Keep up the good work.
