I just graduated from Gettysburg College in May 2009, with a Political Science major and Writing concentration. A born & bred New Yorker, I grew up in the suburbs, just twenty miles from baseball's cathedral. I am a die-hard Yankees, Jets, and Villanova basketball fan. My family has had Jets season tickets since the early 1970's while they were playing in Shea Stadium and we live and die with them every fall and winter.
In high school I was first team all-county in baseball, leading Rockland County in HRs and RBI's my senior year. Spent a semester on the boxing team at Gettysburg, retiring undefeated with a record 1-0 coming by way of TKO. Resided in Athens Greece for 4 great months during junior year of college as part of the abroad program which included traveling to Rome, London, Paris, and Cairo . I write and edit a newsletter for the 150 students that participated in the Athens abroad program with me. Being a huge sports fan, I especially like writing about the Yankees and Jets.
I grew up with Don Mattingly as my sports hero, watching the Jets at the Meadowlands, and am now looking forward to a superbowl victory somewhere in the very near future.
Yeah I know it's getting pretty tiresome, but here's my take on Brett Favre's legacy.
Take a look when you get minute.
