About

I was born and raised in the New orleans area. Football is the only major sport we have had constantly throughout my life. We have had one pro baseball team, the Pelicans, and two basketball teams, the Jazz and the Hornets. Although basketball is nice, football is where my heart truly lies. I went to my first Nascar race in the fall of 1980 and was hooked. I have found that people who do not play golf cannot or do not watch it on TV. Nascar is very similar. Most people that have not been do not watch it on TV. Once someone has been to the track and witnessed it live, they are a fan from then on. My wife's and my loyalty will ALWAYS be to the Saints for Pro Football and the SEC (mainly LSU) for college ball.

I will be offering some commentary over the next few months on footbal more than anything and look forward to being part of the Bleacher Report community.
