  Yeah i knew it was likely a waste of time, but i just hope he reads it even if he doesn't acknowledge it. Probably won't do anything, but oh well. I agree, we need to just stop reading and commenting on his articles altogether. Keep telling B/R what a joke he is and maybe that will do something, but still probably not because this site has a lot of terrible writers. They give work to people who have journalism degrees as opposed to actual sports knowledge. There are many readers on this site who know more than the writers, but because those guys got some kind of degree they assume they are more qualified to write for their site, whether or not they actually have any idea what they're talking about. No quality control, no fact checking, nothing. It's kind of sad sometimes, but some of them are good.

  Wow Dan, just read your Eagles Micheal Vick Experiment article. And i have to ask, do you actually make any attempt to know what you're talking about before you go ranting about how dumb the Eagles are for taking the opening possession of OT? Do you actually know what the new OT rules are? Don't answer, it's obvious you don't.
  
  Yes, both teams can potentially have a chance to possess the ball in overtime. But ONLY if the team with the first possession doesn't score, or only scores a FG. If the team with the first possession scores a TD it is GAME OVER. So, if a team won the toss, and deferred possession to the other team, and the other team goes and scores a TD then that coach is fired the nest day for being such an idiot. But you claim there is "no reason for the team that wins the toss to take the ball"? Seriously, how are you considered a "lead national writer"? That little tirade in your article just made you look like a total joke. Go learn the rules, then come back and try to tell us about who should do what with them, because you obviously don't know what's going on out there. The new OT rules are only to put an end to the quick short drive for a game winning FG 2 minutes into OT. It does NOT guarantee a possession to each team, just guarantees that a short little dink and dunk 35 yard drive doesn't end OT games. That's it. A touchdown or a safety on the opening possession END the game.
