Bears Breakdown: Grading Chicago's Preseason Week Two
08/23/2009
I am an ordinary 16-year-old student who has found a deep passion for journalism. After being a staff writer on my school's award-winning newspaper for a year, I am blessed and thrilled to have been appointed the sports editor. While pursuing journalism as a career, I view Bleacher Report as a great way to gain exposure and to simply do what I love the most: write.
Journalism is indeed my first passion, but a close second is the CHICAGO BEARS!
Since beginning my writing for Bleacher Report, I have been fortunate enough to have my work featured on cbssports.com, and ballhype.com. While seeing my work featured on these sites is wonderful, it's just as great to see that people have perhaps enjoyed my work with all the reads I have received.
God bless,
Seth Boster
No problem Seth, always willing to lend a hand!
As for your question, it is NEVER to late to BB an article. Usually you do it right after you publish though.

That'd be great Seth! Always love getting the latest on a divisional foe!
As for my "deeper" stuff, it's VERY lately been proceeded by a couple humor pieces, (as all the seriousness beckoned for a change!)
And since being conceived on this site, I've learned a few things that I've to share with you.
First, there is such a thing called "article of the day, (AOTD for short)" that is awarded to the "most 'liked'" article of the day. You click this "like" button at the end of articles obviously if you enjoyed the piece. The winning article is the one with the most votes at 7:30pm et. Also, the winning article gets 24-hour face time on the front page, (granting you valuable exposure).
Lately, the award has come under fire as "non-sports" articles have seemingly found a loophole in the system and have been more apt to win the award.
But really, it's just a virutal award that holds "exposure" as a perk. Blatantly speaking, it's not ALL it's cracked up to be, (although it's very nice don't get me wrong).
On a different note, in order to get many comments for any publication, you must BB, (copy and paste the url of your article, and write a short summary) on peopl'es (B)ulletin (B)oard which is what I am writing on currently. People check their BB, almost like an inbox for email, and subsequently will proceed to read AND comment on your articles.
It is in this way that you gain many fans, and start to make a name for yourself.
Whew! (That was long!)
If you have any questions then just "BB" me brother!
Take care.

Is Ben Roethlisberger more clutch than Tom Brady and the rest of the league? I've created a new measure to test quarterback "clutchness". FInd out how Jay Cutler faired.
