Joe's Bio
Raised on Chicago sports. Jordan to Gordon, Butler to Cutler, Sandberg to Fukudome. Rhymes ran out fast.
The love to write about sports is engrained inside me. Degree in Media Studies from "The" Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. I also have experience working on the inside of an NBA franchise. As long as the sports world keeps giving us Lattrell and Pacman, LeBron and Peyton-I'm going to stay motivated to write about it.

If you want to get your reader numbers up, go back into editing of your piece and add the "Front Page" tag onto your story. Also make sure you get key team/player names up front in your headlines so the piece shows up earlier in Google searches. I wrote a piece that was tongue and cheek about Ryan Theriot doing steroids and it stayed in the top 5 articles on Google when you search for "ryan theriot steroids" for a few weeks.
Also, make sure everyone who comments on your stories hears about new stuff you write about that's similar. That will get you some more fans, too.
