About

I am a passionate sports fan and writer for the simple fact that sports brings people together, unites communities, and allows ordinary individuals to forget about their worries and cares and concentrate on one singular purpose: pissing and moaning whether their teams win or lose.

Dammit, isn't America great?!

Short List

  • Favorite Athletes

Magic Johnson, Tony Gwynn, James Worthy, Teemu Selanne, Vladimir Guerrero, LaDainian Tomlinson, Adrian Gonzalez

  • Favorite Sports Teams

    Lakers, Padres, Angels, Ducks, Chargers

  • Favorite Coaches

John Wooden, Pat Riley, Bobby Ross, Mike Sciosia

  • All-Time Sports Moment

Being there for the Ducks Stanley Cup win in '07. It was magically delicious. And, of course, watching Kobe's '81' game. He went bananas that night.

  • Most Memorable Game Attended

Ducks Stanley Cup win, Nick Adenhart's final game (RIP man, you are definitely missed), Orel Hershiser's consecutive innings record game in San Diego

  • Most Unbreakable Sports Record

Dimmagio's 56 game hitting streak. No one will touch it. No way, no how.

  • Ruth or Mays?

Ruth. Willie was way more athletic but did he ever win over 20 games as a pitcher? Didn't think so.

  • Unitas or Montana?

I'm gonna have to go with Johnny's career accolades over Joe's game-winning drives.

  • Jordan or Russell?

I hate Michael Jordan. HATE Michael Jordan. He was great though. I'm gonna have to give it to Bill and his rings, leaving all bias aside.

  • Gretzky or Orr?

I will abstain. Not a huge hockey historian, yet anyhow.

  • Pele or Maradona?

Pele was the coolest dude in two shinguards. C'mon, ain't even close.

  • Federer or Sampras?

Federer. I love Pete, but Roger is unstoppable.

  • Tiger or Nicklaus?

    Not a golf fan, sorry.

  • Petty or Earnhardt?

    Definitely not a Nascar fan.

  • Schumacher or Senna?

    Eh?

  • ACC, Big 12, Big East, Big Ten, Pac-12 or SEC?

Big East, judging from the last NCAA basketball tourney.
