Eric's Bio

I love the Pittsburgh Penguins, nothing more needs to be said. I've been a die hard fan since I was old enough to understand sports in general. I went to my first game when I was 5 years old, and have been hooked ever since.

Like a typical Pittsburgh sports fan, I hate all things Philadelphia, most especially the Flyers. I'm usually not the typical run-of-the-mill writer when it comes to sports, so if I say something to offend you or your team, please don't take it personally. Unless of course that team is based out of Philadelphia, then by all means, do take it personally, because it is.

I used to watch football all day long, every Sunday, until about two or three years ago when it suddenly became just plain boring to me. I realized that the time I was spending watching players huddle-up after every play was time not very well wasted.

The Patriots are cheaters and Bill Belichik ranks in the top 10 on the list of most obnoxious human beings, right below Mike Emrick, Eddie Olcyzk, Tiger Woods, Ben Roethlisberger, Terry Francona, John Stevens and Don Cherry.

Golf is not a sport, it is a hobby. Golfers are not athletes, they are people who excel in their hobby. Hitting a ball and then walking for 5 minutes to find it is by far not a sports-related activity.

So basically, I live and breathe Pittsburgh Penguins hockey. You can check out my blog at : www.pensevolution.blogspot.com if you have absouletly nothing else to do with your life, but if your expectations are high before you click the link, you will be letdown.

I have recently become the Community Leader for the Pittsburgh Penguins. Any questions, comments, concerns, hate mail, etc. can be e-mailed to: EKuz3082@msn.com. Feel free to run any article ideas by me or if you're just looking to talk Pens, I'm always willing to throw in my two cents.

Q: What's the difference between Marian Hossa and the Joe Louis Arena??
A: Only one sells out....

LET'S GO PENS.

  10. No problem man. I love your writing style.

Seeing that you're a fan of the Johnstown Chiefs, are you from there? I ask because I visited UPJ recently (I'm going to be a senior in high school), and heard it was a dry campus. Are there still good, drunken parties? I liked the campus, but was told that and it seems like it might get boring without good parties.

    -Evan

    (Email is nyr1199@comcast.net)

With the draft long passed and all the big name free agents gone off the market, what teams do you feel did the best during this offseason? Also, what teams did the worst during the offseason? And please explain why.

    Thanks,
    Greg Caggiano
