About

Step up to the plate and be witness to the misguided passion of a sports fanatic. Between the Jets, Knicks, and Rangers, I'm a stranger to winning. If I wasn't a Yankee fan, I'm not sure I'd be able to spell championship. It has only been a 42-year wait for the Jets and 38 for the Knicks, but who's counting?

I've written for both daily and weekly publications, including a Gannett paper. Though I aspire to one day have a pro beat in the NFL, NBA, or MLB, in the meantime I have to pay the bills. You may want to be a writer, but you don't want to be paid like one. So, in addition to my journalistic efforts, I'm a consultant for a leading commercial real estate company.

I graduated from Marist College in 2006 with a communications degree.

Short List

  • Favorite Athletes

Doc Rivers, Paul O'Neill, Charles Oakley

  • Favorite Sports Teams

    Jets, Knicks, Yankees, Rangers.

  • Most Memorable Game Attended

Roger Clemens 300th Win vs. St. Louis (same game Tino Martinez returned to Yankee Stadium)

  • Most Unbreakable Sports Record

    Cy Young's Career Wins Record

  • Ruth or Mays?

The Babe is the most dominant sports figure of all-time, there's no argument here.

  • Jordan or Russell?

I despise Jordan because of his constant demolition of my team, but I acknowledge his greatness. It's hard to dispute Russell's unparalleled winning resume, though the answer to this question isn't listed as an option here. Wilt Chamberlain revolutionized the game and is responsible for the implementation of the three second rule and goaltending. He's the greatest basketball player who ever lived.

  • ACC, Big 12, Big East, Big Ten, Pac-12 or SEC?

    Love Big East hoops.

Hey Anthony. I thought you might get a kick out of this mock interview I wrote about last night's umpiring in the Yankees-Angels game.
