David's Bio
Dave is the epitome of a Mets Lifer. A fan since 1985, he bleeds orange and blue and has suffered through the ups and downs of being a Mets fan for the past 23 years.
He created MetsLifer.com in 2007 as a way for he and fellow Mets Lifer, Bryan, to move their daily Mets email conversations out into the public domain.

Hey David, I finally got the Roundtable article finished and published. Go check it out, and let me know what you think. Be sure to rate it so it can get some attention. Thanks, Pat

Hey, I want to get a Mets Roundtable article together and was wondering if you'd like to participate. Send me an email to pmurray3@utk.edu and I'll email you some questions about the current state of the Mets. Also if you can think of a better name for the article than Mets Roundtable, let me know.
Thanks, Pat

Awful? he had a 2.57 ERA last year, 2006 was pretty bad, and he hasn't been able to get into a groove this season (although it isn't over yet) I wouldn't say he has been good, but it hasn't been bad enough to hurt his hall of hame chances. On paper Pedro is the best #5 pitcher in the majors right now, but he is getting old and his body is falling apart.
HOF'er in my book no matter how he ends his career

I really would like you to write an article about pedro and the question of if hes a hall of famer or not. Do you think these awful past few years hurt his chances?

I see you have been a 'lifer' since '85. That was an easy year to be Met fan, though.
I've been a Met fan since '65....not a good year to be a Met fan...
I like your stuff and look forward to reading more of it

Hey David-
35 articles in 21 days, pretty impressive!
Sounds like you have a lot to say about the Mets. Feel free to leave some of the other writers comments in addition to all of the writing you have done.
