About

Hi there I am just a glorified Arsenal fan in the heart of London but I like a good football debate and I am ready to go tooth and nail on opinions with anyone as the pen, or in this case the keyboard, is mightier than the sword. Please leave comments or rate my stuff if you ever get the time to read it.

Just read your message now, I'm afraid I dont have the answers you wanted to hear mate.

I believe it ain't about quality at all, rather about the number of reads, thats what the higher ups seem to think anyways.

btw you should talk about a topic relevant to todays gossip of arsenal because its more likely it will come up on google news serch engines and youll get more reads

I think one of the sad aspects of BR is that while FC's get a lot of front page coverage and prominent and positioning, other writers irrespective of quality, fail to get that amount of coverage which is truly bad. I think you should apply for becoming an FC because your quality of writing is nothing short of fantastic.
Also you could think of doing some opinion pieces on the transfer window because right now, the key words, "transfer news" generates a lot of views. You don't necessarily need to talk about Fabregas and Nasri but could instead talk maybe about how Arsenal are faring so far.
Your pieces are genuinely great and is a breath of fresh air from all the transfer talk.

And one more thing: Do post a link to your article on twitter if you've a twitter account and ask your friends to retweet. That should give you more reads.

I don't have a personal blog but I do write for sites like Arsenallatest, Football101 etc as a guest writer. As for receiving more views and gathering interest, you could take up topics that are more relevant at this point in time; for eg: topics related to the summer transfer window will get more coverage now than, say, something more opinionated that aren't related to the transfer window. Do include more keywords in your headline and in the first para of your article. Don't forget to use full names in headlines; i.e Robin van Persie will get you more reads than van Persie.

This guideline will help you: http://bleacherreport.com/resources/internship-training
