Worked with legendary Myron Cope at Pittsburgh Steelers Headquarters for 8 years covering the NFL Draft. Since then, I have a 2 hour annual NFL PreDraft Show on Fox Sports Net. Write the annual Draft Preview for Kansas City's official team's Warpaint Magazine. Over my lifetime, I have interviewed celebrities from Bob Dylan to Charles Bronson. Pitched one year of Minor League baseball for the Montreal Expos. Hall of Fame catcher Gary Carter was both my team/roomate. Devoted most of my life to working with crippled children. l always root for the underdog. Love upsets. In addition to being a 43 year diehard Kansas City Chiefs fan, old enough to have celebrated their 1970 Superbowl win, I am also a lifelong Oakland A's, Pittsburgh Pirates, and New York Knicks fan.     How do you figure that Otha Foster III will only make the practice squad? Have you seen him play? Do you know his work ethic, heart and passion? Apparently not. You just watch and see that he makes the KC Chiefs 53 man roster!!!!

    Hi Ron, I do really enjoy your articles and comments; I appreciate your professional knowledge and fact-based information ( well shucks,,,your sprinklin' of humor is great, also :-)

    Your Bio demonstrates your solid character; I especially admire your contribution of time and energy given to disabled children.

    I, too, root for the underdog; though basicly semi-retired, I've been dubbed ' a blonde Erin Brockovich " ( except she doesn't like Harley's....lol )

    GO CHIEFS!!!! Ah yes, I confess that as an X-SF supporter, I defected to KCC with AS; and am having a Blast getting to know the 'kingdom'...management, players, fans. You know Ron, I'm discovering a substantially different general attitude within the KCC culture as compared to the 'Bay Area'....less emphasis/admiration for 'Flashy'....I like it; it fits better for me........Hmmmmm, must be my Oaklahoma rodeo and Cherokee heritage roots, huh? :-D

    PS.....I like Mello now that he's dramatically improved his D and got rid ( for the most part ) of his 'sticky-hands ) ,,,,yes?

    Well, if you had any doubt that Ruth was what's his face, check out his more recent comments made about the Chiefs, almost word for word what you would see that one guy (His name truly does escape me atm) post all the time.
