Sigmund Bloom was born in Mt. Lebanon, just outside of Pittsburgh, during the year of the Steelers' first Super Bowl victory. Football has been in his blood ever since he first heard Myron Cope scream "Yoy!" After attending Syracuse during the Donovan McNabb era in an attempt to become the next great Orangemen sportscaster, Bloom took a detour through Austin, Texas and the University of Texas School of Law so that he could meet his future wife and find his adopted hometown. His mission in the football media is to break down barriers between the game and its fans, give glory to the game and its players, and provide coverage for the thinking fan.
I just read your piece on Marcus Lattimore. Spot on as far as his outstanding character traits. His qualities as a football player are historic, he is an all around great guy. I am almost 70 and a great grandmother who recentely fell in love with the Gamecocks and Coach Spurrier. Integrity, integrity, integrity, then comes talent......that is Mr. Lattimore. Lots of luck to all of my hometown 49ers. Thank you Sigmund for a great and accurate report about Marcus Lattimore.
Great job on the Burkhead review, spot on. One of the best break downs of a player I ever saw from a media person.
Have you checked out this kid? Jordan Thompson 6'4" 250 lbs. TE out of Ohio University. This is a kid that is on the NFL radar, but one that the general public hasn't heard much about. Definitely worth your time to check him out.
Below are videos of him wrecking people out on the field.

Thanks for doing the radio interviews with Bobby Curran out here in Hawaii
Whenever an article is discussing QB draft prospects arm strength is always brought up. I was wondering is there an actual test or measurement for arm strength?
Robert, I think it is still meaningful that Flynn hasn't really separated himself in the eyes of onlookers. The piece is a bit provocative, but the fact remains that only Wilson is exceeding expectations right now. Thanks for reading!
In regards to your article about Matt Flynn not wowing anyone in practice I'd like to know if you wrote that without reading/listening to Clayton's entire interview. It sounds like you did. If you were just trying to write a provocative article then that's cool I guess. If you just rewrote that snipit on rotoworld then you're a lazy hack. I guess you're the only one who knows for sure.

This is your old physics teacher saying good to see you doing what you love!
I see that you cover the browns so I want to run this by you and see if you can create an article or something. What if the Browns select Blackmon at 4th, an OL at 22nd and Weeden in the second round. Don't you think that would give this offense some life. Then they could either draft Pead, Holk, or Turbin later on for a running back or trade away a few low picks for Ben Tate.
