I was born and raised in southern New Hampshire about an hour away from Boston, which means I pretty much came out of the womb wearing a Pats jersey and a Sox hat. Don't get me wrong, I like the Celtics and the Bruins too, and I'll watch them when they're on TV, but the Pats and Sox are 1A and 1B in my book.
I joined the Army while I was still in high school and shipped out shortly after I turned 18 in 1999. I spent the next 8 1/2 years traveling around the world while serving my country, including a tour in Iraq during all of 2005. I left the service in December of 2007, and I've been going to college in Oklahoma ever since. I'm looking forward to completing my degree later this year and finally going home to be with my family and friends once again.
