I have been a baseball fan since I was a little kid growing up in small-town northeastern Ohio. I grew up playing and watching baseball, among other sports, as well as learning to love hip-hop culture and all music that is pleasing to the ear and soul. I love to write, thus, I figure coming onto the Bleacher Report as a fan and a writer could merge two of my loves and hopefully create a solid union.
I have a graduate degree in Ecopsychology and Pyschosocial Transformation from Prescott College, thus I am an advocate for Environmental and Social Justice. I spend a lot of time thinking about psychological, political and social issues ... and am very dedicated to their resolve. I deeply know and understand that all things are connected, so in my life's work - which is everyday living - I wish to connect the dots of all fields of inquiry.
I am here mainly as a way of expression, getting my need for writing and self-expression out, while also keeping an eye onto the sport that I love - baseball. I do enjoy other sports, basketball and football mainly ... but ... baseball is where my heart is.
I currently live in Oakland and am a fan of Oakland sports. However, growing up, the Cleveland Indians were horrible so I became a St. Louis Cardinals fan and have followed them ever since. I am also a Dodgers fan, as well as Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Cavaliers fan. Although I may never move back to Ohio, I will always be a loyal and dedicated Ohio State Buckeye Fan. O.H.!! I.O.!!
