I'm a young college student living in metro-Atlanta. My day job currently is in retail but I long for a career in sports journalism. My favorite sport is baseball but I watch basketball and football as well. I collect baseball cards as a side hobby because of my passion for the game.
I live for sports, it is what gets me through the rough times as I'm sure it does for many others. I hope to become a premier writer sometime in the future as I've embarked on this journey in my college career.
My favorite sports team is the Cardinals ever since I saw the great home run chase of '98 with Sosa and Big Mac. I've been privy to highs and lows with my team including a World Series championship in '06, but I've been through the disastrous '04 World Series sweep. I bleed Cardinal red.
Derek,
How have you been, hope all’s been well.
I just wrote a new article on the 10 best left-handed relief pitchers of all time.
If you get time later, check it out and let me know what you think.

Hey, Derek. What's going on. I'm new on BR and I just wrote a piece on the NL All-Star voting. Right now I'm trying to figure out if spamming the link to my article on everyone's bulletin board is really the way to go. If you have any advice on that, I'd love to hear it.
I'd also love to hear some counter-arguments on my stance that Yadier Molina shouldn't be the NL starting catcher. If you have the time, hope you can take a look. Thanks.

An article about A-Rod's return on May 8, and the 16-5 record the Yankees hold since his return to the lineup.
Wang returned on Friday night to pitch in the Yankees bullpen and didn't do as well as hoped, but it was a start.

Please read my latest article that is an "Open Letter to Alex Rodriguez" and my thoughts about the whole situation. I would appreciate any feedback you have, rather its good or bad.
