Parks Race Reactions: Ford 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway
11/23/2009
I'm from a small town in central Pennsylvania named West Decatur, which is about 45 minutes west of Penn State University. That is where I got my Bachelor's Degree in Communication, where I specialized in writing and broadcasting. My main focus was on sports, as can be seen by my articles. I'm into football, mainly the Steelers and the Nittany Lions (obviously), basketball, baseball, and also some MMA fighting, but my real passion is motorsports.
Since I was five, I have been a fan of anything that had to do with motorsports. I am a huge fan of NASCAR. The first driver I cheered for was Davey Allison because of his exuberance and driving. He had so much ahead of him that it was tragic that it all ended so suddenly in 1993. Since then, I have jumped on the wagon of Jeff Gordon and have been dedicated to the 24-car ever since.
Despite my big interest in NASCAR, my passion is monster trucks. I have been addicted to these massive machines since 1988 and to see how the sport has changed and grown is absolutely amazing. Going from 15,000 lb., heavy, bulky machines that were rough to drive to the 10,000 lb. state-of-the-art suspension and scientific marvels that are here today is absolutely unreal.
You can mainly find me writing about these sports, but you can also find me drawing them as well. I currently have seven completed monster truck pieces and am working on an eighth. All are very good and are greatly appreciated by fans, drivers and promotors.
That's it. If you want to know anything else, just ask.

Was surprising to see Martin only run mid pack when I expected Johnson to just ride around there. But the season ended on a high note...
And so it ends. At approximately 6:30 last night, the 2009 NASCAR Sprint Cup season came to a close. It started in mid-February with a rain-shortened Daytona 500 and came to an end under balmy overcast skies in Miami...
I like the design for Mark Green's car from last week in Phoenix. I think he has the same car for this week in Miami...
Hmmmmm interesting on the Roush guys. Normally this is their track but the way they've run this year, who knows what'll happen. I believe it was...
thank you..

Saw a comment you left to the effect that you love the media pass access at the races. I do as well, check out this story I wrote and let me know what you think.
