Phil Shore, raised at the Jersey shore, is a print journalism major and writing minor at Emerson College in Boston, MA. Shore is a part-time employee at the Boston Globe. He is a writer for the college's newspaper, The Berkeley Beacon and created the blog "Shore Thing Sports". He is also a member of the Emerson College men's lacrosse team.

The biggest week of games to date this season begins for the Mets with Six games against the Phillies and the Yankees, its a real test for a team that has dealt with quite a bit during this early part of the season.
