About LaToya »

Since the age of seven sports has been an active part of my lifestyle; more specifically the game of football. From going to every one of my younger brother’s football games (who started playing little league at five and is now a starting senior linebacker for Samford University- I think he plays the Will position) to being a varsity cheerleader myself for a while during school and then switching to an athletic trainer for a bit, the game is in my blood.

Living with two brothers, loads of guy cousins, and even more male friends, I have learned to enjoy watching ESPN and Fox Sports. While other girls are out shopping and getting manicures, I am watching the 2009 NFL draft pick and trying to guess which round some of my favorite players are going to go.

I love the sport, and I can’t wait to see what the 2009- 2010 season is going to bring. Whatever it might be, I hope I get to witness/report it first hand!
