After leaving an 8-year IT career, I took off a year to pursue a master's in Journalism at Northwestern University. Since then, I have covered Northwestern athletics, NASCAR, Horse Racing, and just about anything else you can imagine.

That's all in addition to running my own sports site: MRISports.com and computer rankings for college basketball and football.

That's pretty much it. Sports is my life.

Oh, and btw, I read your profile with interest. I, too, am an IT guy, though I'm older so my experience covers many more years. I wish I had changed careers myself when I was younger as I've been out of work for 6 months now and can't find a job despite an MBA and 20+ years IT experience.
