  4. Hi Zander, just wanted to share this 'success' if that's what it is, with Bleacher and not sure how to! So it's you!
In today's Guardian newspaper (one of the major broadsheets in the UK) is a tennis feature on
"Grigor Dimitrov as the new Roger Federer" (http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2009/jun/18/wimbledon-peter-lundgren-grigor-dimitrov).
Eight days ago, I posted an article on the same subject:
    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/196576-grigor-dimitrov-the-young-roger-federer-in-waiting

Wonder if they'll give me a job?

  5. Hi team,

Just wondered if its worth mentioning, should we have relevant articles in the "must read" sections next the each article picture?

As someone who only uses the world football section, and i imagine there are quite a few people who stick to their own fields of expertese, I never click on the "must read" articles because 99 percent of the time they are all american sports based and im in the worold football section.

Would it create more traffic if the "must read" article sections are relevant to the section the article being read is located in?

If im readin an article in the world football section, should it not contain "must read" articles from the world football section?

I would be more inclinced to use the system if it had relevant content, resulting in more reads/traffic for the site.

Let me know what you think,

    Jamie.

  6. hey Zander

I think people who are given the syndicated writer badge need to be looked at more carefully. I will not take any particular names but I think some not so deserving people have been given that badge

  7. B/R Crew... I beg you to leave 'Fantasy' in the header navigation. All the new stuff you're doing looks super clean but Fantasy has to be there over Tennis or F1 (I know erestling has some VERY dedicated users so I won't try to sway you).

As the Fantasy Football season nears I think B/R needs to make it as easy as possible for readers to find the fantasy content.

  8. Hi Zander,

Im not sure if I have to send you a message or leave a note here but:

You know the pagination feature we currently have?

Instead of having the "single page" link at the bottom of the article, would it be possible to have it at the top?

Whe I start reading an article I have no idea if its has 1,2,3 or 4 pages so when I get to the bottom and then I find out I have to click "single page" I have to wait for thge age to reload and look for my place in the article again.

Whilst only mildly irritating in the grand schem of things, its still a pain that I lose the flow of the article and dont always fancy rereading it again.

Much like pausing a film half way through and then coming back to it annoys me aswell.

Apolgies if this is a petty request.

Also, I just wondered why to the right of every article under the "about the authour" section, where there is the 4 previous articles written by the author......is there a link to the very article we are cureently reading? Should it not be the 4 previous article minus the one currently being read?

Let me know if I have made no sense and I will try to explain a little clearer.

    Thanks in advance,

    Jamie.
