Yeah I see what you're saying. Being a Bama fan, Saban had a simple but brilliant plan for Matheiu, make him play corner. Make him have to cover a tall receiver. Make him play disciplined ball, and dont let their coaches utilize him in one of their packages. And it worked, as he got beat multiple times by over his head passes, got swallowed up by punt coverage, and Bama ball carriers squeezed the ball extra hard to not let him force a critical turnover.

What im sick of hearing is from the USC fans talking down on Bama receivers. Contrary to popular belief, they're not inept. Bama this year will have one of the best WRs units in college ball (trust me on that one) but you wont ever hear that because that unit or the Bama offense in general gets ZERO respect. This is why I want a Bama-USC match in Miami 2013.

SEC players over hyped? Thats why the SEC has dominated the draft. The players that are really overhyped are the ones from conferences like the pac 12 who get embarassedb by SEC teams. (See Oregon vs LSU)
