Hi Michael,
Actually, those things you've described are the exact things I'm supposed to be correcting as a staff editor. Since B/R has become so popular, we're editing more and more articles per hour, and our stance is now to be strictly facilitators (i.e. correcting only certain aspects of articles that matter most to our style) than to get hands on and adjust ideas or even grammar. We've actually gotten pretty good feedback from most writers, who don't want the ideas of their articles tampered with. We're leaving it up to our excellent B/R contributors to sink or swim on their own.
Keep up the good writing, and bear in mind that minimal editing from a B/R editor is really a good thing—it means you've written well.

No problem. The site goes wonky sometimes, so if it gives you trouble, just let me know and I'll make whatever edits you need.
