Thankfully, many fans of BCS conference teams I know want a playoff because often BCS schools get screwed as well.

Thanks for defending me. The BCS proponents drive me nuts. Thanks for having a brain and realizing that a playoff is the only right way in Division I college football. It works so well in I-AA, Division II and Division III. Let's do it!

In 1996, The Yankees had a magical season that would end with a World Championship. In this article, I take a look at the first time I thought the season could be special, a game vs. the Seattle Mariners on May 14th, 1996 at Yankee Stadium, Dwight Gooden on the mound, the rest is history.
