Im Nick Maxson a Junior at Iowa State University and im a journalism major with a kinesiology minor. Im 21 and love to write about hockey, its my favorite sport. i have played the sport as well since i was 5, even played for my university the last fall so i have extensive knowledge of the game. My dream job would be to do play by play announcing for a NHL team on t.v. i have a huge passion and excitement for the game, and i would love to share that with everyone watching at their homes to make them feel like they are right there in the stands with the rest of the crowd. My favorite team is the Minnesota Wild, followed by the Calgary Flames and the San Jose Sharks. I love to talk hockey so ask questions or even chat with me on it because i love to do it just send me an email.

Any of the many Wild games ive been too...all of them are memorable becaause the Xcel ENergy Center is always sold out and its always always like a playoff game, the atmosphere is unbeatable.

NHL record, Minnesota in the 2003 Stanley Cup playoffs came back from 3-1 twice, and in fact in a row against first Colorado and then Vancouver to win the series.
