Running Down DeAngelo Williams aor a Q&A
05/28/2009
My name is Cheven and I've been a free lance sports writer since 2000. I've written for a collegiate magazine, college sporting website, (nineronline) (those were the days) Rivals.com to name a few. I am a proud member of the NABJ. (National Association of Black Journalist) Thanks to them I was awarded the opportunity to enter sports journalism boot camp Seattle 2002. I learned under some of the best editors in the business. Sandy Bailey of S.I., Michael Wilborn of the Washington Post, Gary Howard of the Milwaukee journal Sentinel and many others to name a few. They all mentored the 10 of us in this program. I was really blessed to be around some very talented writers as well. Afterwards I proceeded to work for the Austin American Statesman during an internship in which I gained valuable lessons in writing. I have since continued building my portfolio writing for anyone that allowed me the opportunity to do so. I am new to this website, but from what I've read so far it seems I am in good company of some very talented people as well. I wish you all the best and look forward to reading everyone's work.
Cheven,
I'm responding here so it doesn't look like I'm just arguing in my own comment thread.
I look forward to seeing your article on what makes a good QB when it's published, can you post a link to my board?

Hey,
I've returned from a month long hiatus, and was hoping you could give this a look.
