Ken's Bio

Ken Rosenblatt has been rooting for the Islanders for 28 years thanks to Ken Morrow and the 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team. In the summer of 2007, he was chosen to be a charter member of the NYI Blog Box. The blog that resulted from that selection, Islanders Outsider, is syndicated here at Bleacher Report. However, he is also looking forward to having an outlet for articles on other topics. Baseball is Ken's other great sporting love, but he enjoys nearly all sports. So, in addition to hockey and baseball, he may provide an occasional sojourn into soccer, football, basketball, tennis, or even surfcasting.

  1. No worries man. I really feel bad for Nolan 'cause he's always gotten the short end of the stick when it comes to getting fired.

Thanks for the comment! Keep up the good stuff on the Isles! You've got to be liking having Streit from Montreal!

  2. Ken,

No problem buddy. I definitely love the coverage you provide of the Isles and you and Dee certainly make a great, informative team that can go toe to toe with almost anyone on any subject (I've experienced this with Dee haha). The add was a little delayed though because I try and add as many of the NHL writers as I can which makes it easier to keep tabs on the section, but like yours, some adds are just because they're well deserved.

    Keep up the great work!

  3. congrats on the NYI CL position. If you need anything drop Bryan or me a line.

  4. Hey Ken,
No problem, glad I could help. I actually agree with you, but tend to follow style rules anyway. If it's a stat line, defnitely use all numbers, not words. Feel free to change back anything you like though.
