About

I am a sports journalist living in Chicago, a short walk away from Wrigley Field. I graduated from Miami University of Ohio, where I majored in journalism and had the pleasure of serving Ben Roethlisberger stir fry at the dining hall once.

I have worked at sports desks from Cincinnati, OH to Aurora, IL and have covered just about every sport.

I love talking Bears, Orioles, Reds and Terps basketball and football. And yes, I acknowledge I'm all over the map with my sports allegiances. But I've lived in D.C., Cincinnati and now Chicago, so don't say the words, "fairweather" or "bandwagon". Besides, who is a bandwagon Orioles fan anyway?

Feel free to check out my resume and some clips at www.emiledawisha.com.

I remember being at Camden Yards when Eddie Murray was trying to hit his 500th dinger. 60,000 orange signs that all said "Eddie" on them. He struck out 3 times. Ha. Its nice to know that there are no band wagon Orioles fans. At least its easy to get tickets.
