I'm a sportswriter for the Valencia Community College "Voice" in Orlando, Fla. Last fall I covered the University of Central Florida's home football and women's soccer games. I also covered the Champs Sports Bowl and the Capital One Bowl.

In addition to hard news coverage, I wrote a weekly NFL picks column that in week 4 correctly predicted the Detroit Lions would go 0-16.
