I am happy to be a part of the Bleacher Report . It is my sincere hope I will be able to contribute interesting and informative articles which all of you will enjoy reading. You may not always agree with me but I hope it will provide for stimulating thought on both our parts. I also look forward to learning from you by reading your articles and any editorial feedback which you may provide.

I am a 52 year old aerospace executive and former U.S. Marine Corps Officer and pilot. My first love has always been writing and I have decided to try to hone my craft via the Bleacher Report.

As for my educational background - I received my Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley in 1979. I was commissioned an officer in the United States Marine Corps in 1979 as a graduate from the UC Berkeley Naval ROTC unit. After six years in the military, I transitioned to civilian life in the aerospace industry. I went on to earn my Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of La Verne in La Verne, California in 1990 and I completed The Berkeley Executive Program at the Haas School of Business, University of California in 2000.

I am a native of the San Francisco Bay Area and a long-time season ticket holder of the San Francisco 49ers.
I am also a Cal Bears fan and a Cal football season ticket holder. Given that I graduated from Cal 30 years ago this June, I suppose I am now an official "Old Blue."
