I am a 6'4 240 pound all around athlete that ran track for Brooklyn Technical High School in Brooklyn, NY during the late 80's (state champion in the 110HH) and The University of Iowa in the early 90's. I am from Queens, NYC. Home of the likes of Mark Jackson, Kenny Smith, Kenny Anderson, Ron Artest and Rafer Alston to name a few. Also home of too many rappers to mention, but maybe you have heard of 50 Cent, LL Cool J and Run-DMC.
I'm a basketball and football lover, both college and professional. I used to play a lot of basketball until I ruptured my patellar tendon and dislocated my knee cap last year (think Andrew Bynum, I did mine the very next day). He's back, I'm not. He's gets paid to, I don't. No more catching lobs from half court or tapping the glass twice before dunking, it's a wrap. I now play poker and one day hope to do it professionally. My preference is Hold 'Em but I also enjoy playing Omaha and Stud.
I am here to discuss, debate with and enlighten you all as was part of my mission statement while working for ESPN as a stage manager from April '07 to October '08. I also look to give good insight having friends in the NBA and NFL alike, as well as, ESPN.
I look forward to hearing from any and everyone!
Ryan Zimmerman’s hit streak halted at 30 games last night. As one streak ends, another is admired. Read about how Joe DiMaggio forever redefined ’56,’ and how his feat may never be broken. It is a record that thankfully cannot be broken through steroid use, and represents all that was once right in a game that has since gone so wrong.
Thanks in advance!

Have you read about the Brett Favre computer virus?
I'd appreciate it if you'd check this out. As I see it, there are three teams with a chance at winning the NBA Finals. Find out who they are and why the others don't have a chance.
I know that I'm pretty new here, but don't be scared to become a fan. I promise I won't badger you! ; )
Welcome to B/R! Nice articles so far.
Sorry to hear about the knee, you seem like a very athletic, and talented player.
