Maybe in 2004, but not now....
Bill Parcells is all about Bill Parcells. When you bring him in to you organization, he wants full control. Everything has to go through him - everything.. Floundering organizations gladly succumb to this demand because they know he will turn them around. That is his specialty - reviving failing football teams.
The Giants do not need to be turned around. They are one of the top 3 organizations in football. Why ruin it by bringing in a self-centered, self-serving, autocratic demagogue who will only end up leaving in two years?
Keep in mind, since Parcells left in 1991, the Ginats have won a Super Bowl. He hasn't....
Yea, I have been getting "Drafting is not an exact science" comment alot. I know, I get it. I actually said the same thing at least twice in my article. But the point of my article was to show exactly how inexact it really is, and that even the so-called Draft geniuses like Reese could have done better at evaluating talent, scouting, and setting up their draft board. So when I hear people say, "Well, Nicks is obviously better than Kenny Britt because Reese wouldn't have picked Nicks first if he wasn't better"...well then those people need to read my article. Its not only possible that Nicks won't be better, it may be highly probable. Still, I think Reese is the mack, so I will buy a 50 Cent/Jay Z jersey if Reese thought they could play for the Giants and drafted them.
