Joel's Bio

Hello all, I'm a 20 year old college student from the burden of the world, Illinois. We get bashed for everything from politics (I'm not pulling for Obama) to sports (yeah, U of I DID deserve to go to the Rose Bowl, get off our backs).

I'm a diehard St. Louis Cardinals fan and will be for life. Got an issue with that, go buy a box of tissues. Bears, Cubs and those White Sox they wear will never see me cheering for them. I'm into college basketball and football. Sorry, professional football and basketball doesn't do it for me. Illinois State and University of Illinois are my teams and forever will be.

I hope you enjoy reading my articles because I'll enjoy giving them to you. Also note, that I don't like it when people change a lot of my articles, especially when it's the format. So, if you do edit my articles, thank you, but please don't make it your article.

  1. Joel,

Thanks for the note you left. Ludwick has benefited greatly from the absence of Pujols. He's obviously listening to whatever he's teaching even though he wasn't on the field. He's having a breakout year so I guess we'll just have to see if this lasts because I've seen too many one 'n done guys come and go throughout the organization. Fortunately for him he's got Ankiel and Glaus in the lineup too who are power threats and hopefully Ludwick will get better pitches.

Great article on the C.C. Sabathia trade article, it had me going for a second. I almost leaped out of my chair. I hope we could land him. With him, Carpenter, and Wainwright..that would be ridiculous.

  2. Hey Joel,
I just wanted to let you know I really like the recent articles you've put out and I'm really anxious to read more of your stuff. Keep up the great work and it's great to have you writing about the Redbirds.
    Peter

  3. Joel,
No problem, glad I could help and glad you liked what I did. Feel free to change back anything you didn't like though.

And I'll ignore that last comment since you liked my editing (and since your team sucks).
