About

I have a small business that offers events that empower and esteem youngsters in a non-competitive sports arena. I am also ardent in my love of fantasy, rotisserie and professional sports.

I enjoy blogging and glogging games and enjoy gleaning the 'SI' type stories of the true heroes of sports, those that exhibit great court or sport gestures to their opponent.

Our company is called Court Gestures.

Short List

  • Favorite Athletes

Jesse Owens, Muhammad Ali, Willie Mays, announcer, Bill King, and the horse, Secretariat; all these performers blessed me with goosebump moments.

  • Favorite Sports Teams

Raiders,(perhaps the only fan with a three figure I.Q.), Athletics,(I love Billy Beane's efforts), Warriors and San Jose Sharks (another great administration in charge).

  • All Time Sports Moment

Immaculate Reception/'The Play' (Cal Berkeley). Had to mention two awe-inspiring , unforgettable plays for those of us in the San Francisco Bay Area.

  • Most Memorable Game Attended

Raider AFL Championship victory over the Houston Oilers (1967), prior to their loss to the Packers in Super Bowl II.

  • Most Unbreakable Sports Record

    Wilt's 100

  • Unitas or Montana?

Willie is my favorite player of all-time. He had all the skills. However, Babe was the most colorful and commands the reverence of all fans as the biggest star in a special era. He could throw the ball pretty darn well also. It's a toss-up.

  • Pele or Maradona?

Pele. Diego has had some struggles and used his hands one too many times.

  • ACC, Big 12, Big East, Big Ten, Pac-12 or SEC?

    Pac 10
