Brian Carson was born in Central Pennsylvania in 1966 and fell in love with sports by the time he was six years old. Football and hockey were his favorites and he has spent many frustrating, sometimes exciting, years rooting for the St. Louis Rams and Boston Bruins.
Brian was a sportswriter for 14-plus years with various daily newspapers in Central Pennsylvania before he left to help his wife Maria run their restaurant business in 2004. Sports never left him and Brian continued to write for various Internet sports sights and blogs - including the Pennsylvania Football News.
Brian is now committed to coming back as a sportswriter on a full-time basis, on the Internet, with the Bleacher Report as his launching pad.
In addition to being a Featured Columnist on Bleacher Report, Brian is a NFL Rapid Reporter covering the Pittsburgh Steelers for CBSsports.com.
Here are some of the places his work has been featured:
CBSsports.com
The Seattle Post-Intelligencer
USA Today
Comcast Sports
The Philadelphia Inquirer
