Josh's Bio

**Follow me on Twitter: www.twitter.com/j0shsanch3z**

I'm a 21 year old living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania by way of Texas. I am in the process of fulfilling my dream as a sports journalist. I don't believe there is a better job out there. This is the one area where you can combine your passion for the sport along with your knowledge and share it with other fanatics. So much of the sport is driven by the fans and it is great to be able to interact and communicate with others who love the game as much as I do.

I am a fan of all sports. While it is a strange duo, my two favorite football teams are the Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers. Being born in Texas it is no surprise that I would become a Cowboys fan, and I have never been able to let the team go. I have also become a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers after living here for many years and seeing the unbelievable way that the city embraces the team. It really is a great thing to experience. Apart from football, I am a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins hockey team and the Cleveland Cavaliers basketball squad. With there not being a professional basketball team in "The 'Burgh," Cleveland is one of the closest cities and with a star like LeBron James how could the team not excite you?!

One of the biggest depressions I've been involved with as a fan is the Pittsburgh Pirates. I've loved the team since the Jay Bell, Barry Bonds, Bobby Bonilla days, but the team has never really returned to glory. It's looking up though!

Apart from the mainstream sports, I can't get enough of mixed martial arts. Whether it is the UFC, WEC, Affliction, StrikeForce, or DREAM... I am always watching and I am telling you all to do the same!

I look forward to sharing with all of you and if you would ever like to get in contact feel free to reach me at joshsanchez@gmail.com, just please reference Bleacher Report in the subject.

  1. What up everyone? I wrote an article about the changes here on B/R over the last couple of months, and about some of the things that we used to have, that we don't anymore. If you could, check it out.

As I have said in the past, many times, I am not on here for AOTD votes, but I believe that if enough of you give me your AOTD vote, then maybe the higher ups will bring back some of the things that are gone.

Thanks a bunch, I really appreciate it.

    Nick

  14. I'm getting together a fantasy football league for this season. It'll be an interesting set up, I'm working on getting twenty teams signed up, so already incredible depth is needed for each team to succeed. Secondly I've added positions to the defense, so we do not choose a D/ST to line up, but rather 3 or 4 DL, 3 or 4 LB, and 4 DB's. This way you can basically completely build your team as you want it. Additionally I'm using an auction draft, meaning you can build your own team as you see fit. The scoring is set up so everything counts for points, each tackle made by a defender earns you one point, each pick for 6, or fumble recovery for 6 earns you 6, typical scoring is used for offensive players. All in all it should be the ultimate test of football knowledge, with 20 teams, a QB, 2 RB's, 3 WR's, and 2 TE's as well as the defensive positions and bench spots to fill this is already set up as the most challenging fantasy league you'll ever play. In addition to that I'm primarily pursuing sportswriters or at least those who consider themselves as such, and spend a great deal of time researching the game, and writing for several sites. Basically, this is a chance to participate in an ultra competitive, very challenging fantasy football league. Let me know if you're interested and I'll send an invite out. I'm doing it on ESPN, and will ultimately assign division by region of the country, for additional bragging rights.
