I'm a 23 year old living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania by way of Texas. I am in the process of fulfilling my dream as a sports journalist. I don't believe there is a better job out there. This is the one area where you can combine your passion for the sport along with your knowledge and share it with other fanatics. So much of the sport is driven by the fans and it is great to be able to interact and communicate with others who love the game as much as I do.

I am the lead writer of the Dallas Cowboys blog TheLandryHat.com as well as the mixed martial arts fan blog, CagePages.com. My work has been featured or linked to on SportsIllustrated.com, FoxSports.com, Yahoo! Sports, and NFL.com.

I am a fan of all sports. While it is a strange duo, my two favorite football teams are the Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers. Being born in Texas it is no surprise that I would become a Cowboys fan, and I have never been able to let the team go. I have also become a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers after living here for many years and seeing the unbelievable way that the city embraces the team. It really is a great thing to experience.

One of the biggest depressions I've been involved with as a fan is the Pittsburgh Pirates. I've loved the team since the Jay Bell, Barry Bonds, Bobby Bonilla days, but the team has never really returned to glory. It's looking up though!

Apart from the mainstream sports, I can't get enough of mixed martial arts. Whether it is the UFC, WEC, StrikeForce, or DREAM... I am always watching and I am telling you all to do the same!
