The great debate continues, and I share my opinion on it in my latest piece. I'd also like to hear your opinion so don't be shy!

Earl: The latest developments with the Bucs are most distressing, to coach Morris for sure. Tanard Jackson suspended for four games for violation of the NFL substance abuse policy. Aqib Talib arrested early Thursday morning and charged with simple battery and resisting arrest without violence.

Jackson's suspension will affect the defense for sure. I'll be producing my prediction soon and it may not be that good. This team cannot afford stuff like this.

    Stay tuned.

Stay safe, come home! God bless you and your family,

Earl: I just watched the game for a second time. I'm making sure I saw what I saw. We have two more games to get a much better feel for these guys!

Earl: Thanks for visiting and reading my stories. Truly appreciate it. I can tell you that the guys at 630 WDAE, which is the flagship station for the Buccaneers, have asked the same question: What do the Buccaneer fans have to be excited about?

Ian Beckles, who played for the Bucs for many years, has asked the questions and answered it at the same time: nothing.

Justin Pawlowski is at the practices and echos the same.

What I try to do when I write is to provoke thought and try and supply some quality content that reads well.

I'm a fan of East Carolina University because I went there, graduated from ECU.

As far as the Bucs, I am not a fan of the Glazers as they give relatively little money to the community. The Jacksonville Jaguars owner recently gave $10 million of his own money to charities there.

Sure they give tickets, they'll give $5,000 here and $10,000 there but never really stroke the big check and I know in the early days of their ownership, the NET operating income from the Bucs was in the $120 million range.

When USF plays in Raymond James, they pay rent to the Bucs, all the concession money goes to the Bucs, parking goes to the Bucs. All USF gets is ticket money.

Not a fan, but do want them to do well and I AM pulling for Raheem, he's an underdog and I can totally relate to that role. What the heck, I'm returning to writing after 28 years.
