I am a 2007 graduate of George Mason University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. I was the Sports Editor at the Broadside (the George Mason campus paper) during my senior year and had the opportunity to cover the Men's Basketball team the year after their historic run to the Final Four.
Since graduating, I have been writting for DCMetrosports.com; continuing my coverage of George Mason basketball as well as the Washington Capitals. I was fortunate to cover the Capitals late season surge to capture the 2007-2008 Southeast Division Championship and covered Games 2, 5 and 7 of their 2008 Eastern Conference quarterfinals series against the Philadelphia Flyers.
I have continued to cover the Capitals throughout the 2008-2009 season, including Games 1, 2 and 7 of their 2009 Eastern Conference quarterfinals series against the New York Rangers, and Games 1 and 2 of their Eastern Conference semifinals series against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
